Empowering Therapy Teams
Our Mission
Pet Partners of the New River Valley serves the NRV region of Southwest Virginia. Our missions are to (1) provide networking and support for local therapy animal teams, and (2) to provide animal-assisted therapy activities to the NRV by linking teams with facilities and organizations. We have connections with a wide range of venues including schools, libraries, hospitals, retirement facilities, and community organizations. We provide information and encouragement to new members getting established. Our teams are available for community events to provide support and education about therapy animals.
